At the start of 2020, my family and I moved to live off-grid on the outskirts of my hometown, Blackburn, and it was here we spent the best part of a year. At a time when the world was changing so rapidly, I was making my transition into adulthood.

All images from this project were shot on various film stocks and formats, and were developed by hand on site in a makeshift darkroom.

This project is in the works as a hand-bound book, which was shortlisted as part of the DIECIXDIECI 2022 Photobook festival in Italy .
